Can there be more than one Research Topic host?

All Frontiers Research Topics should be led by a small team of Guest Editors.
Typically, there are between two and four Guest Editors per Research Topic. Having more Editors help divide the workload and the editorial responsibilities throughout the project, and provides a group dynamic. We encourage a geographically diverse team which helps minimize the probability of conflicts of interest during the review process, as well as promotes a broader spectrum of contributions across the globe.
Each editorial team must include at least one senior researcher (Associate/Full Professor or equivalent).

When appropriate, the Frontiers Research Topic can be the first editorial experience for some early-career researchers who have the opportunity to collaborate with senior colleagues.
